Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
1 cup carrots, sliced
1 cup peas
1/2 cup corn (optional)
1 small onion, chopped
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
1 ½ cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
Salt + black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp thyme (optional)
2 pie crusts (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions:
- Prepare the filling
In a pan, melt the butter.
Add onions and cook until soft.
Add flour and mix for 1 minute.
Pour in the chicken broth and milk slowly, stirring until thick.
Add chicken, peas, carrots, corn, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
Let it cook for 3 minutes.
- Assemble the pie
Place the first pie crust in the baking dish.
Pour the filling inside.
Cover with the second crust.
Seal the edges and make small cuts on top for steam release.

Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 30–35 minutes or until golden on top.
