Crockpot Pierogi Casserole with Kielbasa
This creamy, cheesy comfort dish combines tender pierogis, smoky kielbasa, and rich flavors, all slow-cooked to perfection!
Ingredients
- 2 boxes (16 oz each) frozen pierogis (potato and cheese flavor works best)
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prep the Crockpot
- Spray your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Layer the Ingredients
- Place the frozen pierogis evenly in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Scatter the sliced kielbasa and chopped onions over the pierogis.
- Make the Sauce
- In a bowl, mix together the chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour this mixture evenly over the pierogis and kielbasa.
