Hamburger Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes (undrained)
  • 1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or rotini)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Beef Mixture:
    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and diced onion. Cook until the beef is browned and onions are tender. Drain excess fat.
    • Stir in garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  2. Combine Ingredients:
    • Add diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.
    • Mix in the cooked pasta and milk until everything is evenly coated.
  3. Assemble the Casserole:
    • Pour the beef and pasta mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
    • Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Bake:
    • Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
