Ingredients:

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or 12 small cheese cubes)

For the Dough:

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough or crescent roll dough

For the Garlic Parmesan Topping:

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried parsley (or fresh, chopped)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Cook the Beef Mixture:
    • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
    • Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Let the mixture cool slightly.
  3. Prepare the Dough:
    • Flatten each biscuit or crescent dough piece into a 4-inch circle.
    • Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each dough circle, adding a small amount of shredded cheese or a cheese cube on top.
    • Wrap the dough around the filling, pinching the edges tightly to seal and form a ball.
  4. Arrange on the Baking Sheet:
Place the dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
  5. Make the Garlic Parmesan Topping:
    • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley.
    • Brush the topping generously over each dough ball.
  6. Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 15–18 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve:
Let the cheeseburger bombs cool slightly before serving. Pair them with ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauces.

Tips and Variations:

  • Cheese Swap: Try mozzarella, Swiss, or pepper jack cheese for a different flavor.
  • Bacon Boost: Add crumbled bacon to the beef mixture for an extra layer of deliciousness.
  • Meal Prep Friendly: Assemble the bombs ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake.
