- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional for creamier sauce)
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

- In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream (if using), chicken broth, garlic, and thyme. Stir until smooth.
- Assemble in the baking dish:

- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and is golden on top.
- Garnish and serve:
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. Pair with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
