A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring tender chicken bites, creamy Alfredo sauce, and perfectly cooked linguine — the ultimate weeknight dinner!
Ingredients
For the Chicken:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For the Alfredo Sauce:
3 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Pasta:
12 oz linguine pasta
Water and salt for boiling
Instructions
- Cook the linguine:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. - Cook the chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. - Make the Alfredo sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream, stir well, and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper. - Combine everything:
Add cooked chicken and linguine to the skillet. Toss until the pasta is well coated in the sauce and heated through. - Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
